The ABI (Association of British Insurers) represents the collective interests of the UK?s insurance industry. The Association speaks out on issues of common interest; helps to inform and participate in debates on public policy issues; and also acts as an advocate for high standards of customer service in the insurance industry. The Association has around 400 companies in membership. Between them, they provide 94% of domestic insurance services sold in the UK. The Association of British Insurers said that, although the total number of deaths on UK roads has fallen in recent years on the number of fatalities. ABI revealed that there is 1 percent difference between the chance of young drivers who have done the Pass Plus course to be involved in an accident in their first year of driving compared to the ones that haven?t. The Pass Plus course means to take some extra lessons to improve your driving for about ?130 but the statistics show that young, first-year drivers who do this course have virtually the same number of accidents as other young drivers. The insurers know this and they won?t offer significant Pass Plus discounts that why before taking the Pass Plus you should compare the costs and benefits. Some councils give grants on a first-come, first-served basis for Pass Plus students, although when they catch on to the ABI statistics they may stop doing this.

The ‘delegated-authority’ scheme is when an insurer trusts the broker and gives the broker the power to choose the premium. Usually there is an amount the broker is not allowed to go under but the amount can often be a lot less than standard quotes. There are delegated-authority schemes for all sorts of profiles, such as mature drivers with sensible cars and for women drivers and some even offer a delegated-authority scheme for young drivers. The ‘delegated-authority’ scheme is the best thing to get from a broker.

One of the most ignored and yet devastating epidemics of our time is affecting millions and millions of people every day and you may be one of them. The long-lasting effects of the negative thinking epidemic are a life filled with struggle, sadness and hopelessness. But the most devastating fact is that this is one epidemic that can be treated right now, today, with a 100% success rate, and yet very few people are aware of how to do it.

The Law of Attraction, based on the science of Quantum Physics, says, ?That which you focus on is what you attract back into your life.? The universe doesn?t assess good versus bad. It simply reads what you are focusing your energy and attention on and gives you more of that.

So, it makes perfect sense that if you are programmed with automatic, negative thoughts that constantly berate you, you have a very good chance of attracting more negative experiences into your life. If you constantly focus on what you don?t want to happen, the universe only knows what you are focused on, and gives you more of it. Meaning, if you are focused on not going bankrupt, or not getting a speeding ticket or not screwing up that huge deal at work, the universe sees the focus being on bankruptcy, a speeding ticket and screwing up the big deal. You create that which you most want to avoid. And all because you have never been taught how to powerfully direct your amazing and brilliant mind.

One of the main catalysts for negative thinking is fear. It is the fear that something is not going to go well or the way you expect it to go that creates a lot of the negative talk that pops up in your mind.

No one in the world is free of fear. Fear is a natural emotion that all humans experience. It is actually a great thing for keeping you safe in the world. At the same time, fear that takes over the mind is the first stage of the negative thinking epidemic.

Since options started being trading in exchanges, few people actually use options in their trading or investment. However, recently the market has changed. In 2005, 1.5 billion contracts are being traded in the USA. In CBOE alone, more than $200 billion worth of option contracts are being traded.

More and more individual traders and institutional money managers are interested in options mainly because of their leveraged profit opportunities, ability to limit risk, ability to profit in any market environment, and the flexibility to create various strategies. What this means is that now traders and investors are able to combine different option contracts with different strike prices and different expiration dates to create profitable and suitable strategies for the market environment.

Now the question is how do we use options to replace our current trading or investment strategies? A better question is not only to replace, but to replace in a way that boosts profit potentials and reduces risks.

In stocks there are only two things you can do. You can buy the stock and profit when the price goes up or you can sell short the stock and profit when the price goes down. In futures, you can do the same, that is to buy or to sell short futures contracts. Another thing you can do in futures is to do a time spread. In this article, we will be covering how to use options to replace buying and selling the underlying instruments.

To replace buying stocks or futures with options, there are several things you can do to benefit from price rise. You can buy call options, bull call spread or call ratio backspread. If you have $100,000 and you plan to buy 2000 XYZ shares at $50 and hold it for 12 months, you would have to spend the whole $100,000. By buying the stock you risk all $100,000 if the stock’s price plummets. The alternative is to buy 20 call options for $7,000 (assuming $350 per contract), and keep the remaining $93,000 in AAA bonds that gives a good yield. Your risk is limited to the $7,000 you paid for the call option, but you probably get it back from yield from the bond. Because of the leverage effect in call options, it still gives you the unlimited upside profit if the stock price rise. Alternatively, you can buy more calls options for this stock or other stocks because your risk is limited.

Another strategy you can do is bull call spread. In the above example, 20 bull call spread might cost you $4,000 (assuming $200 per contract). Bull call spreads give you a lower breakeven point compared to call options, so you will profit faster when the stock price moves up. The only setback is that the upside profit potential is limited.

You can also do a call ratio back backspread in which you sell a lower strike call option and buy a higher number of higher strike options. You would want your choice of option to give you a credit to open this position. This strategy gives you unlimited upside profit potential, and some profit even if the market falls. You make losses if the market moves up slightly and slowly.

Once you’ve written your articles, where do you market your food writing? If you live in a large city, you can write for a local newspaper or an alternative paper (i.e. the LA Weekly, the Austin Chronicle, etc.). Millions of people read these papers daily or weekly, and a good portion of those millions read the food section. When anyone in a major city needs to make restaurant reservations for a date, business dinner, party, or other social engagement, they look in the food section of the local paper for hot new restaurant reviews. Stay on top of restaurant openings and closings in your city. New restaurant openings can be your ?bread and butter.? Local newspapers and online city guides are always wanting to print new restaurant reviews.

If you have a favorite local hangout that not many people know about, write an article on it. Submit your article with a proper query letter to a local newspaper. You might be the first one to write about the place, throwing needed business their way. In the end, you collect a decent paycheck from the newspaper, along with a published clip, a byline, and hopefully more work and referrals.

Another option is to write for magazines dedicated to food, dining, city nightlife, general lifestyles, or for the tourist market. If you plan to write for magazines, your choice of what to write about becomes much broader. You can write how-to articles, interview pieces, cookware reviews, and so on. If you plan to write for local tourism guides, your best bet is to write restaurant reviews. Tourists may not know about any of the well-known restaurants or diners in the area. Tourism guides provide insight and guidance to what?s hot and what?s not in the area. This means that there’s a steady flow of potential readers for your restaurant reviews and other food writing.

The gay and lesbian community has come a very long way in terms of gaining proper, equal and significant representation in the entertainment industry, and one of this year?s shining example is the hit reality series, The Amazing Race.

Having provided a venue for people like Tom, Terry and Lauren to shine despite what some of the public may have to say about their lifestyle is certainly commendable, and the Media Award nomination they received from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) for is certainly well-deserved.

GLAAD is an organization that was created in 1985 in New York. In its official website, their mission is clearly stated as their dedication to “promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.” The organization decided to nominate The Amazing Race for having successfully and willingly actualized their mission statement.

From this picture-drawing method, the other character forming principles were subsequently developed. However, only a very small portion of Chinese characters falls into this category, not more than 5 percent.
